ECHO . . . . echo . . . echo

(P.S. I started this post several months ago - eeep!)

This would be the last big outing of cousins before Ammi & Co. head south to a warmer climate.  It was bittersweet but isn't she just the most precious lil' thing!

My boys absolutely love ECHO.  I personally think it is too expensive for them to just look at frogs and play at a water table.  Regardless, they always have fun and that is what matters!

Ship rat
Look Ma!  I can stack and play wif all dis stuff!

Cutest Ammi I know.
Wee cousins
Touch tank - Ethan always homes in on the horse shoe crab and dazzles the volunteer on duty with his knowledge of said creature!
Finally, the frogs!!
Don't worry Toby, soon enough you'll be able to see them . . . too soon for mommy.
Turtles in the play room!
Forced smile at the water table (awww Ethan thanks for being a good sport with your paparazzo momma!)
Queen of the Camp
I think Ammi ordered him to go make dinner.
Inside the turtle tank!!

Whatchooo lookin' at!  This little fish tank is hidden!
Bye Ammi we will (and DO) miss you!

Too much BLARGH.

Okay, I didn't even realize that I was THIS BEHIND on my precious bloggity-blog!

Time really flies.

The "little" kittens turned ONE in September!

I traveled to Florida at the end of August with the kiddos in tow and we didn't die of heat stroke.

I also went to Montshire Museum at some point and saw a T-Rex skeleton.

Um, am attempting to open an Etsy shop . . . post for another day.

Toby is 2 going on 30 and Ethan is set on narrating (or tattling) Toby's every move.

I also haven't blogged yet about the loss of our Cricket Weenog to cancer 7 months after we lost Luka to cancer.

We got new carpet and the boys are now in the same room (two twin beds!) and I am faced with selling Toby's crib.

No comment on potty training.

. . .

Life marches onward.  Not always upward though . . .

Next posts will be picture heavy - which is something I LOVE.  So, I hope you do as well.  Cheer me on as I attempt to "catch up."  ha ha ha ha  ha ha ha ha  ha ha ha ha  ha ha ha ha  ha ha ha ha !!!!

The Farm

One of my favorite places to visit is Shelburne Farms.  Ethan is *almost* to the age where I don't hyperventilate when I can't see him and Toby is *just* the right age to get sucked into playing with the toy tractors for hours.  Plus, it is just plain GORGEOUS out there.  I hope that over the years we get to utilize the hiking trails and biking trails more fully but for now I think every trip is just darned special :)

And here are some pretty solid examples of how my kids won't frickin' smile like normal people.  Buuuut they are still wicked cutie pies!

Riding the tractor/train out to the Barn!
Feather!!!
We are here!  Let's run amok!!
Toby loved the baby goats (who doesn't?!)
Absolutely stunningly gorgeous day in Vermont.
Barnyard area.  Teaching area and exhibits to the left and bakery straight ahead!
Checking for eggs in the chicken house!
Toby and his best bud Huxley :)
WHOAAAA chickens!
Ethan made a friend.  In truth, these chickens were rock stars!
Ethan and his buddy, Rowan, found some eggs!
Toby liked these chickens a bit better.
